Rescue Princess!

SYNOPSIS

Oni, an ogre invited a princess and a hero into his new dungeon to test it. The princess was divided into several instances and scattered throughout the dungeon. The hero must find all these instances and get out of the dungeon without being caught by Oni.

DESCRIPTION

- The goal of the game is to collect all the princess instances and get out of the dungeon.

- Hero moves cell by cell with Z, Q, S, D keys.

- The player can move from one room to another through the doors with the O key.

- The map opens with the M key and can help to locate hidden parts.

- The hero can activate his destructive energy to perform certain actions (but not to attack Oni because Oni is too strong).

- When the hero activates its destructive energy, it decreases.

- It is possible to rewind the hero’s energy using an energy clutter scattered throughout the dungeon.

- Use the P button to collect instances, keys and energy clutter.

- The player loses if he does not have enough energy left, if he gets caught by the ogre or if he leaves the dungeon without having recovered all the princess instances.

- Oni will chase the hero only in certain rooms.

- Once the hero has found the key to get out of the dungeon and captured a certain number of princess instances, then the number of rooms where Oni will be present will increase. Oni will become faster too.

- Oni will appear in a window at the bottom of the screen and give various informations and make various comments.

- Tutorial at the beginning of the game and can be passed with the enter key.

- Title screen with menu and end screen.

FEATURES OF THE 2025 UPDATE

- Ability to change skin with the space key on the menu screen.

- The menu screen is colored in pink when the new skin has been selected.

- Princess Amy replaces Princess Mari when choosing the pink skin.

- The hero has a new appearance when choosing the new skin.

- The new skin brings new graphics for the floor, walls and doors.
